  1. Two or three years ago, when you used to say that economics sanctions against any “government”(people) is a crime since during the whole history there is no regime step down due to such sanctions. The only this will happen is making the life of people miserable and unaffordable more and more. That’s very true, and we can remember the story of such sanction on Iraq Saddam Houssien.
Now such any other sun of bitch you are hyper for such sanctions

    • Yes, that is true. I still oppose sanctions against any country, just like I explained back in 2011. At that time “Syria” still existed as a country, so I opposed sanctions against Syria lest we see a catastrophe in that country. But this is history now. We are in November 2016. The catastrophe which I warned against has already happened (worse than I expected) and the former country called Syria no longer exists. In the territory of former Syria there are now several competing forces, the worst of which is Dhayl al-Kalb and his Iranian masters. Since those have been committing the worst atrocities in Syria (and they are in fact responsible for most of the devastation there), I am calling for harsh sanctions against them, not against any country or people, because the country called Syria is already gone and the Syrian people now lives in a worldwide diaspora, in case you did not know (you probably do not know).

Nothing has changed in my position. You only think that my position has changed because you seem not to understand the situation in Syria.

  2. Nothing changed at all, still there are several millions of people will suffer more than they do now because of what are you calling for.
Don’t be idiot, presidents, ministers, generals will not be affected by sanctions at all. They have their own way to continue ruling any country for decades under the harshest sanctions possible.
Look for Iranian, Cubian and Iraiqian regimes, they lasted for decades under such sanctions. who paid the
price, the poor people of those countries only no one else.
Tell me one sanctions precisley that will affect the president or the regime ! there is no such things at all.
You will find other millions suffer more and more nothing else

    • I am hesitant to say this, because it may sound shocking to some, but those few millions that still support Dhayl al-Kalb could have brought the sanctions on themselves by their immorality and lack of common sense. They basically support the destruction of millions of people who live inside their own country (sometimes in their own city, as is the case in Aleppo). If you are so immoral and unintelligent as to support Dhayl al-Kalb in his genocide against millions of people who live right next to you inside your own country, then perhaps you deserve to be sanctioned. In this case it is they who brought the sanctions on themselves. It is somewhat similar to how we punish criminals. The punishment is not good and we do not like it, but the criminals make us punish them by doing what they do. I am not saying that all of Dhayl al-Kalb’s supporters are criminals, but supporting Dhayl al-Kalb is not a normal or acceptable position, especially if you are Syrian. What do you support him for? For throwing thousands of tons of explosives on Aleppo?

  3. I am not supporting anybody here, I am shocked by how many Syrians are ready to fuck up others.
you have many mistakes in your assumptions
    1) you assume everybody under control of the central government supporting Bashar which is not true
    2) you don’t care if they really support him or not, you just want to fuck up their lives hoping that this will lead to step him down
    3) 99% of the effects of such sanctions will just screw those people lives, their future and even their health you can re-read the history of Iraq and see if the sanctions lead to weakening Saddam really or just destroyed lives of millions of Iraqi people
Finally, it is clear we are on different pages, you just want this regime to step down, regardless of the consequences, I am pretty sure you don’t live in Syria anymore
